I survived the stay and did not die in my sleep
When we walked into the hotel it was like entering the twilight zone. It felt like being in a retirement house. When we got to the room, the bathroom had mold on the shower curtains and the walls - I did not shower in the hotel, I was so creeped out about the hotel I did not sleep very well that night. Luckily I was only staying for the one night. I won't be going back there, and I won't recommend the hotel to anyone. It was rated as a 3 star but it should've been a 1 star. The hotel needs updating and the staff need to become a lot friendlier.

Hotel Belvedere is really close to the ocean and the breakfast as well as the size of the room were good.
It's not really close to the center of Opatija and the bathroom was a little old and has started to fall apart.

Ecxellent massage service. Location was quit but still only 10 minutes from Opatija center. Own swimming area. Good wifi for free.

It is old fashioned and was obviously quite grand in its day. I liked the fact that the staff were helpful - let me check in early and leave luggage there for a week. Had a nice atmosphere.
It could have done with a bit of modernisation - no air conditioning or tv. The musical entertainment at night wasn,t very inspiring !
